Default How to measure clutch?

I just yanked the motor out of my F1. I was wondering if there's an easy way to tel what size clutch I have. It's an 8ba with the old 4 speed non synchro. I think I read somewhere you can measure the diameter between the clutch fingers but I can't seem to find the post. Thanks everyone!

With a four speed, normally 11" clutch. Are the clutch to flywheel bolts right out on the edge of the flywheel? If so 11". I think the fingers are gonna be the same gap between them, they all have to line up with the throwout bearing (release bearing, there's another one)
Motor is out? Six bolts and pop it off and measure it.
Martin.

An easy way to ID the clutch cover (pressure plate assy) is to measure the distance between the paired holes on the flywheel.

9 1/2" clutch cover is 3" c/c, 10" is 3 1/8" c/c and 11" is 3 3/8" c/c.

9" is 2 7/8". To add to the list, just measured one.

So it seems like c-c increases 1/8" for each 1/2" diameter increase. Maybe I can remember that. But how do I remember where to start? Woulda been easier to remember this if 9" was 3" c-c instead of 2-7/8" --- what was Henry thinking? 8^)
