Default trim rings for 1939 ford deluxe

I plan on buying a set of 4 trim rings for my 1939 ford deluxe 16 inch wheel can anyone give me advice on the best place to purchase them i just want to make sure that i the correct ones. any help is appreciated. jim s

Unless you want OEM NOS trim rings aka beauty rings... I'd go to either
Dennis Carpenter or Bob Drake.

I bought some Drake beauty rings about 20 years ago. I installed them and later needed to change them to another set of rims. The "fingers" that grip the wheels were not tempered and once removed from the first set, did not properly grip the wheels. They were loose and squeaked.

I had the same experience when trying to reinstall the rings. They would not hold well. That was about 10 years ago so maybe Drake has changed them.

Not aware of how much Drake or Carpenter get for a set of these. I know I was able to find a set of five at a couple of different swap meets. Can't remember the price I paid, but I don't think it was a lot. I have seen two different styles of these. One has a coved, smooth finish and the other has multiple ribbed design. The ones I found were the old ones and hold the rim real good.
