Default Info on install of heater in '38 standard

I'm wanting to install a hot water heater in a '38 standard. The heater is a Ford heater that mostly you see in '40-48 cars and pickups. The heater has two tubes, one on top of the other. I have the fitting in the lower passenger side radiator hose. Does this go to the top or lower tube? Does it make any difference which head the other one goes to? Thanks for your help.

Passenger side head to the top, you might have to burp out the air in the system at that top heater connection. ..B.
