Shout out to SwoopNZ!
A big thank you to my new friend in New Zealand, Chris Tompkins (swoopNZ)!
Made a long distance purchase of some parts for my 38 from him… A very nice experience connecting with a fellow Early V8 Ford lover from halfway around the world!!! |

Chris is a fine man indeed. Although I've not met the man face to face, I have had a great friendship with him for better than twelve years.

Re: Shout out to SwoopNZ!
What's the best way to contact him? Maybe he can help me with my much needed 60HP fan.

Lawson,
You can message him…he will answer promptly—keeping in mind he’s about 15 hours ahead of those of us on Eastern Daylight Savings time!! Last edited by 38convsedan; 07-01-2022 at 02:38 PM. Reason: Clarity |

Kube would be the go-to guy who may be able to help you out.The 1937 parts book I have would seem to indicate the 60HP and 85 HP engines used the same fan, PN 78-8600 Last edited by swoopNZ; 07-01-2022 at 03:26 PM. |

Re: Shout out to SwoopNZ!
Chris is a good bloke. I called in and introduced myself to him a few years back when I used to take my late mother to visit her friends in New Plymouth.
