Default Still running bad!

Well, yesterday I took the coupe out with the B carb on it. When it ran good it ran very good with lots of promise for when this is finally straightened out. But it wouldn't run good for very long and it seemed to be starving for gas. It suggests that the float chamber is running dry. The float seems to work fine and I've been over the gas line assys (filter, gas line etc) and the gas flows like water. No problems there. It does not start good, needs to be speeded up when cold or it will die, I found it's best with the GAV 1/2 turn open. When I had the A carb on it, it just missed, with the B carb, it momentarily dies out. Suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Can you maybe find someone with a proven CARB and maybe try it just to see if indeed it is carb trouble.
