Default 1935 Ford truck radiator fan

I have a 1935 Ford BB big Truck with a Chevy V8 and original style radiator and grille. What is the best fan system to install to keep her cool?

I would use a standard engine mounted fan if there is clearance between the engine and the radiator.

That would be way too low. Someone has made this switch before and must know what works best. I assume an electric fan and shroud is the way to go.

Forget that electric fan. Even if you do find a GOOD one, they draw a hell of A LOT of current, they look like an afterthought, and everyone else will snicker about it behind your back. Look-up "Zip" brand 'water pump riser' that raises the fan approximately five inches. Speedway motors carries them, for which you can click on the link just below. The second link is of more detailed pictures. DD

I have a correct generator mounted fan for a stock 35 ford truck, but don't know if it would work with your setup.
