c oil
I positioned my coil between the two carburators on my in take.
Would that be a bad location for _heat on the coil? |

Re: c oil
If your coil is of an original type for a V8 Ford then it may have overheating issues. Ford usually mounted them close to the front where cooling system air flow can keep the temps a bit lower. The can type coils are a bit more resilient in high temperature areas. Some aftermarket intakes still make use of the heat cross over to warm the plenum but not all of them do. One with no cross over would likely run a bit cooler in that area.
