Default Victoria Steering Column

Is there any difference in the steering columns on a regular model A Ford and a Victoria? I know the Victoria is dropped about 1 3/8" at the steering column bracket on the gas tank , but is there any difference between the Victoria steering column and any other model a Ford steering column?

Yes and no. There is a difference between a column that would be used in a Vicky vs a 7-tooth column, but during the production time of all Victoria's, they shared the same steering column & gearbox with the other cars being produced on the Ford assy line.

The 190A uses a 2-tooth Gemmer steering which is common to other 1930-'31 Model A's. Avoid the Ford 2-tooth steering because it has bastard angle ball bearings and a bastard worm gear to match.
