Default 1953 mercury radio wiring

Does anyone know where or have a wiring diagram for just the radio wiring for a 1953 mercury monterey? I have the stock radio and I have one wire with a in line fuse coming out of the left side of the radio and I assume that is the power wire so it should be hooked up to the circuit board. Then I have one wire coming out the right side of the radio and I don't know where it goes, I assume the speaker but the speaker has 2 posts so I don't know if I'm missing a wire off the radio or what and I can't seem to find a diagram anywhere online. Thanks for any help

For now pictures, tomorrow I will post the actual wiring diagram. 1st picture is the speaker side. Use the center hole and the top hole for the wires to the speaker. 2nd picture is the fuse side. Should go to the neg side of the battery or the hot lead if the car is still positive ground. The post below it is the ground goes to the pos side of the batt or any ground. The 3rd picture is the front of the radio from my 53' Merc just to make sure we are talking about the same radio

I don't know the 53 models well at all but the earlier models like the 50 & 51 had the power supply wire connected to the accessory section of the ignition switch.

Unfortunately, in the 53' Merc radio, there is only one power source. The light is controlled by the on and off switch. I think what he has is a speaker wire.

Thanks Merc Cruzer, that should help me. Where do you find these books at? I have been looking for a service manual for my car and all I can find are part supplement books or ones that mainly focus on Lincoln's even though it's suppose to be for both it says.

Swap meets, E-bay, garage sales and estate sales. Here are few books on my self I have used to guide me through a few projects. Before you install the radio you might want to read through this:
