Default Transmission oil for a 1953

I am running the stock 3 speed manual transmission with overdrive in my 1953 Mercury. I am just curious what kind and weight of transmission oil y'all would recommend?

I use Sta-Lube Hypouid SAE85W90 rated API/GL4 purchased over the counter from my local NAPA store. Made to specs for older manual transmission with brass synchros.

It even smells bad just like original.
