Re: glass
Black acrylic enamel paint seems to work although perhaps there is a professional sealer.

Re: glass
Maybe I am showing my ignorance but why would you want to seal the edge of laminated glass? I am assuming that the edge to be sealed is exposed, would sealing edges that are fit into a rubber seal improve anything? Thanks...

Re: glass
Early laminated glass was so bad about delaminating a black seal was applied to all exposed edges. Check an old original car and you can see what I am talking about. Eddie

Re: glass
Thanks guys, learned something new today. So is it acceptable to use black enamel as 19Fordy suggests or is there some sort of glyptal (http://www.glyptal.com/products/1209tech.pdf) or other coating that is more appropriate?

Re: glass
Wow that is interesting...I didn't realize that the seal was actually recessed in between the layers of glass.
