Hooch mine has 4 snaps on the back wall of the package tray to snap the boot in place. They work fine.

My '31 boot has no snaps on the package tray. The boot is held by snaps on the boot itself on both sides and the leather straps that go through the footman loops on the header. The top is up and the car still has the Christmas lights from Saturdays parade. I can get you a photo of the boot off the car now or when I get the decorations off I can get a photo with the boot installed. PM me. Russ

Hi Russ, a pic. or two would be nice. However my boot was made by myself and it sounds like yours, but what I experienced was when I would drive the wind catches the boot and blows it open. hence I cut a slot in it and that slot attaches to the tab on the package tray which I believe is not correct but it does work nice. reading about it ,it looks as though snaps are installed for this reason. I might add that VOL 6 OF how to restore your model A shows no mention for snaps in the roadster package tray. thank you THE HOOCH
