Default K R Wilson Tool ID

I found what i believe is a KR Wilson tool. Part # 5Z319, about a foot long and 3/8 's diameter. One end looks like it could be for a valve spring. Can anyone identify this tool ? Thanks Pete

That tool is a Model T engine valve spring lifter.

As stated above it is for the model T. Not made by KRW, but is a Ford service tool. Nice find. Rod

I think you are looking at a rod with a c-shaped end grooved for the spring. It originally had a short piece of chain connected to it at the engine end that went to a hook over the manifolds...this gave a fulcrum for the lift!
Z tools were produced by Ford itself as accessory service tools and were listed and pictured in the T parts catalog. More were made for Model A-32 Fords.
