Mart's update: 2021 No3. Ol' 59 Flatty Project Pt.20. Con Rods. How can it be so hard
Hello. Welcome to Mart's Garage.
This week I am going to continue with a simpler format. I have 2 projects going on, the 32 sedan and the Ol' 59 flatty. I intend to feature one or the other in the updates, rather than both. This week will feature a job on the Ol' 59 Flatty. I try to resize the small end bushes but had a lot of trouble. I do realise a Delapena honer would be ideal, but I like to do stuff in house even if I don't have the best tools. I did manage to get it done but not without a struggle. So sit back and relax and watch me really enjoying myself in the garage. This was harder work than the tyre change last week! Take care and I'll catch you next time, which will feature progress on the 32 Ford Sedan. Let me know if the simpler format works or doesn't work for you. Cheers!. Boy Mat, Your a glutton for punishment, always use a Hone for the wrist pins. Same with the Big ends always added an extra .001 to the big end. I'm lucky, the shop in town has a sunnen Hone.
