A friend recently installed one on his Model A and really likes it. I don't know the series number though.

Hi Steve,
I have two A's with webers. My sedan has a Thomas head with over 20 years running and no problems. The phaeton with a miller overhead with 5 years and never jetted neither carb. Which carb are you running? Mine are DGV 5A with manual chokes. I'll see you at the hill climb next weekend.

we have built and sold many weber kits, with motors with more hp try swaping the air jets around. change the secondary main jet to 145 this should help if your motor stumbles when you hit the gas. (our kits are on ebay best price around.)dgv5a. fuel pump recommended.

#1 is your carb a real weber or take off, about 3 years ago (weber in spain) had no carbs, so only the repos were out there. and had the large air jets, try this,low,55-50,main135-145, air160-165 also use a K&N air filter, check your float level real important. also check for air leaks,

my carb came from snyders in the kit they sell . it has also been to weber in N.Y. & no mention of it not being a weber made by weber . how would I tell ? the pill box filter that came with it starved it for air , even before the lion head . thank you much
* ill will try your idea tomorrow .. thanks again ... steve
