Default 1940 ford super deluxe

i'm considering replacing the distributor with a rebuilt on my 40 ford v8. the heads on the engine have an A on them so i think its the original engine, but the distributor and coil are seperate and some illustrations i've seen don't match up..my distributor is a 2 bolt and the cap isn't a crab type, but a round with two flutes for the s/p wires...???

hi arthur, please scroll down about 3 or 4 inches, and look
for a thread I started named, "READ THIS before you post a question"

You will get alot more people to read your post, if listed in the correct section.
