Correcting a title

Why can't you correct/edit the title when you post? I live in CO, but I was unable to correct the COP in the title. Frustrating, especially with obvious typos.

I'm not a moderator, but maybe I can help with your question.

If you want to edit the Title or Text, then go to the post you want
to change, at the bottom, click on "Edit", then click on "Go Advanced"
and make changes to the Title or Text. Then at the bottom,
click on "Save Changes".
