Tires
I purchased a 31 5 window coupe that had a 1950 tag on it. It was setting under a shed in SC but its condition is quite deteriorated. The first thing I would like to do is find a set of tires. Someone has put 16” wheels on it. I could use old tires to move it around or a good set that I can use when I get it running. Looked online and these tires new are over $200.00 each.

Re: Tires
To get you up and rolling at least for now, check out Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace in your area for some usable takeoffs or you might get lucky and find some pretty nice tires for a bargain price.

Re: Tires
you should be able to find a set of rollers for 100.
as Mc said- look on CL or FB you can also find four complete wheels with tires for 100. in the 19" size. sell your 16s for a profit, if you dont want to use that size. I get 75. a rim for 16s from hot rodders. |

Re: Tires
It sounds like for right now you need rollers.16 is a popular size now, just get a set from the junk tire pile at a tire store.Buy a set of tubes and pump them up real hard so the car rolls around easily by hand.Tires are the last thing you put on when the car is ready for the road. You don't want to buy a good set of tires, then not have the car ready for the road for a couple more years. You might plan on having it on the road in 6 months, and it can turn into 3 months or 6 years.Life happens, you never know.

Re: Tires
I've been running these tire on my 30 pickup for 3 years now, not the best quality tire, but for the light-weight Model A, there work great.
