Beautiful stable of rag tops! Did you guys work on the engine swap-out for the panel today? If so, how did it go?

Hi Steve, Don came over and we stripped all the extraneous stuff off of the Flathead in the '53 Panel, pulled the radiator, unbolted the headers, etc. Now all I need to do is pull the front clip so we'll have plenty of room to do the swap, maybe next weekend.

Thanks, theBoB. I'd like to be able to say that I really planned that picture, like I analyzed the lighting, setting, etc. But, the truth is, we were at the annual fall colors Bishop car show, and we just stopped beside the road, and I did a quick snapshot.
The 28rpu includes my bride & me, taken about 1960. The 47 pic was taken, probably 2008.

Not running yet, but someday it will be done. The quarter window on the hood will serve as a bug deflector.

Although a die hard hot rodder all my life, my 40 Ragtop that is 100% stock is one of my favorites. This car taught me so much about the correct restoration of an early Ford V8 and how temeramental flatheads can be. 34 was my first rod built in 1974 and still part of the stable. Long live the MN Street Rod Assn.

Right below that is the words "more options" in green.
Click on that.
It will give you options in the size that your photos will post.
You want to make sure you chose "Large 640 x 480" as your image size.
This will give you a nice large photo without being too big where you have to scroll back and forth to view it.
You only have to do this once and all your photos will stay this size unless you go back in and change it.

Or, if you're using a PC operating system, and you want to use pictures from you own computer files, you can use software that came with the computer call "paint".

Follow this string: start>accessories>paint>file/open>choose (double click) the image in your computer you want>image>resize/>fill in the boxes with a percentage (depends on how big original is) that gets you to something around 800x600 >file/save as>fill in the name you want for the new format, original will stay the same. Sounds more complicated than it is, after you do it once or twice you should have the hang of it.

.
His photos are already hosted on Photobucket. His Photobucket setting was just off is all.

You're explaining how to resize photos that are on your hard drive. Not necessary if you are going to use Phtobucket to host your photos.
