Default Ortho or Roundup for this AA

Found this AA today. I was wondering if you would recommend Ortho or Round-up for the first step of this restoration

Why does the hood look so long?

Also, what does the little sign say? BTW, for me it ain't about the Ortho or the Round-up. I'd be more worried about Mr. Snake!!

It looks like a hood from something else that covers a little of the radiator and cowl. It looks like it has a 28/29 cowl with a '31 radiator shell.

Notice that the sheet metal is 29 style, but look closely at the gas cap, it is a 1/4 turn late style cap. The headlamps are 30 style, the chassis has the budd wheels with the huge brakes. That all points to an early 30 AA, with the 29 style sheet metal, as was common until about june of 30. The hood is obviously from some other vehicle, probably a 30-31, as I can see the faint line of the reveal around the louvers.

That Coke sign is probably worth more than the truck, any American Pickers out there?

I say drive it as it is. You can't beat that kind of "patina" and you will get a lot of lookers!

I also love Patina. Years ago there was had a 29 Packard attend local meets. When was placed next to a fully restored Packard, guess where the crowd was

How about leaving it as it is and just landscape around it..
