1928-29 Standard Coupe wood installation
Anyone have pictures of of 1928 1929 standard coupe interior wood install? Interested in the back roof above window and corners and 1/4 window sides and in particular where the brackets go. Its been a long time since disassembly. Really could use some help.
Thanks |

I have a couple of pictures on my avitar. If you click on the 1928 Coupe, I should have a picture or two of the body after I installed new wood.

Re: 1928-29 Standard Coupe wood installation
Got most of the wood figured out except for these two small pieces and all of the brackets confuse me like these two pictured. Can anyone tell me where these go?

Re: 1928-29 Standard Coupe wood installation
The two brackets will bolt to the aft side of the B pillar. There are three long, flat headed screws below the door latch that attach those brackets to the pillar. Then, there (if I remember) two screws that attach the bracket to the horizontal wood support below the quarter window and through the quarter panel and upper quarter panel. These are integral supports for the side of the body. I wish I had pictures but I can't find any at the moment. As for the small wood pieces, I think they go somewhere around the quarter windows as well.

Are those reproduction parts pictured? They do not look like any of my original brackets.

Gary thanks i stumbled on where they went this morning and installed them. You are 100 % correct. This will teach me not to take disassembly pictures
Larry thanks for the pix |
