'47 Car Radio Speaker Question
Re-wiring under dash and time to replace that crappy, punctured, stock 6 X 9 speaker. Keeping the 6V Pos. Gd.
Looked at the S & M Electro-Tech site and they have one that should work. http://www.turnswitch.com/speakers.htm Has anyone used the one from MACS and have any advice? http://www.macsautoparts.com/early_v...hm-368164.html Thanks...Jim |

Re: '47 Car Radio Speaker Question
Just in case you ever want to hear both sides of a stereo signal in your speaker you might want to consider replacing with a stereo unit also available for Mac's here: http://www.macsautoparts.com/ford_me...ford-only.html.
See this thread to see what I did: http://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=134617 Note: Unfortunately, the smaller speakers in the stereo system do not reproduce the low frequency bass as well as a single speaker. But, I had to do it to hear both tracks of my stereo input.
