Default Gemmer Steering Box?

I have a 30 coupe. The steering box casting has A-3550-C on the back side and what appears to be 8 M on the sector side. The steering shaft is 44" long. Is this a Gemmer box?

I believe you have a "Ford" built steering gear; I believe if it was a Gemmer it would be so marked.

Refer to one of the supplier catalogs; most tells you how to measure your column so you can get the correct light rod.

Hope this helps,

Ron
