Hopefully no one will fall for this from pat1930a, whom, I figure is knowledgeable enough in our hobby to have a 1930 model A email address used in his/her scam.
I just received this email.
Some scammers even hijack friends addresses to request money, etc, but rest assured, its a scam. -Bruce

"Hello,
Urgent notification ...I'm writing this with tears in my eyes,my family and I came down here to London,England for a short vacation unfortunately we were mugged at the park of the hotel where we stayed,all cash,credit card and cell were stolen off us but luckily for us we still have our passports with us. We've been to the embassy and the Police here but they're not helping issues at all and our flight leaves in few hrs from now but we're having problems settling the hotel bills and the hotel manager won't let us leave until we settle the bills..

I got a couple of those too,but his name was Frank,then Pete.There are also some into Studebakers,old VW's,and british bikes.I tell them that I happen to be less than 3 miles from them and will be happy to meet them and go around the hotels and settle up.They still seem to want me to Western Union money the 3 miles to them.Nobody has taken me up on the offer to meet them.
