Default 1931 Roadster rumble seat platform.

Can the rumble seat platform be replaced while the body is still on the frame? I doubt I will rivet it in place but I may.The one I have in place now was made many years ago probably before the reproduction was made available. It is okay but if it is not to hard to do I think I would change it if I can. The curved panel for rumble lid is missing also. Was it function as the water channel? Is it tough to replace? Thank You.

you say the curved panel is out already. yes you can remove the platform, but the three rivets on the sides are going to be a little hard to deal with.

Can someone tell me what book is available that shows the construction or positions of the curved rumble seat panel to the platform? Mine is missing the curved panel and I would like to find out what it attaches to,I guess the platform but what else?
