Mike, I didn't give a full explanation of the situation, Richard was very helpful and willing to try to get a core made by Maine radiator. Apparently Richard and the owners of Maine radiator are related, when I contacted Maine radiator a week or two before ever talking to Richard they were not interested in doing the work. I just felt that Maine is a high production shop that doesn't want to be bothered with a one-off core. Anyway that's the feeling I got talking to them on the phone.
Talking to them in person may be a different story.

Rods Radiator in Redding California. I had them scratch build a radiator off a sample one and they hit a home run. Great people to work with.

Vic, thanx for passing along that info, if neither of the two shops that I have sent cores to can satisfy my needs, I will contact "Rod's Radiator.
