Default radiator shop recomendation

Hello, I am looking for a radiator shop that can build an authentic 1932 Ford V-8 radiator core using my formed header panels (images). Does anyone have a recommendation?
Thanx,
Tom

I've had these guys do radiator and heater core work but they also do custom radiators. Long way away but maybe worth contacting them.

I would not use Brassworks. They seem to be putting out sub-par quality lately in my experiences and the owner is very unprofessional if you have any criticism. Find a good local radiator shop that’s been around for awhile. They will typically have experience with older radiators.

51504bat, I talked with Fontana radiator, they were easy to deal with but unfortunately they don't make cores themselves.their supplier was unable to supply my needs.

Heh-heh. I'd hafta guess that a good local radiator shop that does this kind of stuff doesn't exist anymore in the St. Louis area or within 500 or so miles thereof.

Oh, well it was worth a try. What about Johnson Radiator? They took over Walker.

1940 convert, I tried to contact "Bills radiator service several times by phone, couldn't even leave a message. Thanx for all the leads, I intend to follow-up on everyone of them. It's frustrating not to be able to find someone to do the job, fifteen years ago I made header panels for my 37 1/2 ton, took them to the local radiator shop and two weeks later I had a perfect core. I'll let everyone know if I find someone who can do the job.

L/A Radiator in Maine built a couple of 1934 cores for me that turned out identical to the original. Ask for Richard. L/A Radiator may get parts for cores from Maine Radiator which is in the town next door. Check out the photos of vintage cores in the Maine Radiator catalog. Links are below.

After reading the above comments maybe I'd better check the Brassworks radiator I had built for my FH powered 32 roadster.

Mike, I took an original '32 core to a well established local shop, the owner said he had a supplier that thinks he can reproduce an authentic core. I'm going to ship another original core to a company in Indiana in the hope that they can do the same thing.L/A radiator didn't work out for me. I will post the results of my efforts when I'm finished, I think other hobbyists will be interested in reproducing authentic cores.

Tom,

I'd like to know the name of the local shop you used. Let us know if they live up to expectations please.

Tom, Well, at least you found a shop willing to do the work.
I plan to take another '34 radiator and one from a '55 Chevy to L/A Radiator in June. I guess that I'll phone them and make sure that they are up to doing the work.
