Default 1930 Model Center Rear Body Repair Help

I have 1930 Model A Tudor Sedan. The car has be damage in the Rear Center Body Panel. I was think about buy a Rear Center Body Panel for Phaeton from to fix that damage area. I know it will have to be weld in a some modification to make it work. Is the basic shape the same. Thanks for all the help. Hope every is have a great year.

I can not see it too well in the picture.

My intuition tells my you can do a substantial amount of the repair with proper hammer and dolly work. Then finish it off with a shrinking disk.

Using a phaeton section sounds a bit like a waste since the tudor is a very common body. The phaeton bodies are kind of hard to come by. I would think that you could find a tudor rear section in excellent shape if you ask around some.

I would also think that you can do significantly more damage/ work replacing the rear section when compared to repairing what you have.

The Phantom is reproduction of the original sold by Macs. The panel on the tudor is to far gone.
