Default V8 water pump on an A

on my model Ai just got it has a V8 water pump, and the pump is worn out. their is about 1/8 inch of play in the pump. also the fan is mounted to the pump, do you guys think it is a good idea to use a V8 pump? or should I just put an A pump back on?

Most of the Model A places sell that adapter to mount a 32-36 water pump on a Model A. BUT, I cain'r see any sence of it. I use the leakless pumps on A engine. Thay have sealed bearings, you don't have to grease them. An A pump pumps plenty of water, ypu usually have to use a thermastat to slow the flow. Walt

I've had a great experience with the leakless Model A pump. I would also recommend going that route.
