Default Egge Machine And Hard To Find Engine Parts

Just putting this in late model but it applies for Model T on.

Was checking on parts for an engine that looked like there were

hardly any rebuild parts for it.

Thought of old Egge Machine. They had them!

Be forewarned though. Rock Auto Parts prices they are not!

Egge Machine has been around since the beginning of time.

It may give you sticker shock dealing with them but they do have

great customer service!

I started using Egge in 1972, pistons and valves for a '29 Dodge. Even then the price was not cheap, but the parts weren't available anywhere else. The quality was great, so no complaints from me

Thank you Craig

'72?

Was probably getting gasket set from JC Whitney.

That was for '47 Cadillac coupe. The good looking one not the other one.

Putting army surplus tank engine in it from junkyard down in Carson.

Also getting Studebaker parts from Foster & French in downtown LA.

Did have a '54 Ford lowrider custom car around that time also.

Did not appreciate the Ford fully at that time though.

Had pearl paint job. Tuck and roll interior. Fender skirts. Lakes pipes.

Interior painted white with red and blue pinstriping.

Tonneau cover over back seat.

Think it had signature who did the pinstriping. Maybe Von Dutch. Maybe

not.
