Connecting Exhaust Headers to Muffler
Is there a typical way this is done? The header has a 3-bolt 3" flange with an adapter that takes it down to the 2" pipe. But how is this then connected to the muffler pipe?

There is also a wide stainless exhaust connector that fits over both pipes and is clamped with two bolts/nuts. With that one you don't need any welding.. it does not look anywhere near stock, but with the header you are not worried about that. |
