Default Ford trucks and other stuff

Decided to start a new thread mainly so I can add to it later ,thanks Old Gold .GB asked about the tow truck here's a Video of it ,some of you would have seen these ,some of these are local some from the States .

Thanks for sharing Ted. I’m always looking for good pictures of old trucks, mainly to help with restorations, so I’ll stay tuned.

Thanks so Much! Did you build the tow truck body from scratch? Seems I saw an earlier photo with it mocked up with one fender.

Current stable consists of 1946 1/2 ton pickup turned woodie wagon with FH V8, 1947 Tonner Pickup (red) mostly stock with exception of a cummins 6at turbo diesel, 1946 Tonner Pickup (green) with 226 cu in 6 cyl flathead, 1979 Toyota landcruiser wagon, completely encased in 1947 Ford Jailbar sheet metal. Ok, cornbinder rear fenders..... 'Rusty ol' floorboards, hot on their feet' (Alan Jackson)

No GB i didn't build that one a buddy here did ,it was in very bad shape at least the cab was he had to pull it completely apart ,This next truck is a metal finished NZ one

Now those are trucks to be admired. I like old cars but love old trucks of any size or vintage. The truck thing probably comes from being a log truck driver when I was young.

I'd strongly suggest to go enjoy the early '30's Ford service car at the Beller Museum in Romeoville Illinois,

So the paint job on the tow truck in the video was recently applied? If so, it's the best job of it I have ever seen.
