1955 pickup side mirrors

I recently purchased a 1955 pickup. The stock side mirrors are still on it, but seem almost impossible to see out of safely. They are just too low and too close to the door in my opinion. Has anyone out there found some nice aftermarket replacements to remedy this problem ?..... yeah, I'm getting older and can't see as good as I used too, but I still would like to keep driving (safely) ha. Bill
