Default 1932 Starter

Other than the unique 11130 rear plate assembly do the parts interchange between the 1932 V8 and the 1934 V8 starter motors? Particularly interested in the armature and field coils.

Charlie,

Are you referring to the unique late '33-'34 four cylinder starter motor rear plate that adapted the V8 starter to the fours? As for the V8 starter motors themselves, there's no difference between the '32 and '34 versions.

Dave,

Just interested in the V8 starters between 1932 and 1934. Looks like they just redesigned the 11130 rear plate assembly and left everything else the same.

Charlie,

Not that I'm aware of as both look the same and carry the same part number without any suffix. Perchance are you referring to the incorrect photo in the Club's '33-'34 book? If so, a correction is noted on the Club website.
