1929 Model A Paddy Wagon
I have the opportunity to buy what is described as a Paddy Wagon. The owner says that only about 490 of these were made & this particular one was used by Cook County, Il to haul individual prisoners to/from jail & the courthouse. It’s made similar to a panel truck except that it has a single seat in the box with shackles & a cell type door on the back.
The truck is running & driving, but still needs some TLC. It also still has the mechanical brakes. So far I haven’t been able to find anything like it on the web. I don’t have any pictures yet, but intend to have some soon. Any information/advice will be greatly appreciated.

Get a first refusal today, ask for a few days work out details. Post pictures -a complete set - inside, outside, top and bottom, to get opinions on what you are looking at and its value. Which if it is a paddy wagon is right up there in worth.
