Default 46 column shifter

does any one have a picture of the shift rods showing which one goes where? thanks mike

Only help I can proved is I have column shift 3 spd (RHD though...) and the long rod is on the linkage at the rearest , short rod is on the linkge closest to engine...don't know which they attach to on the column though, my column was already removed when I got it.

I would say if you lift for 1 and revesrse that goes to back, longer rod.

This is how I did my 48 Merc. Go under the car and place the trans levers in neutral. Then place the column shift lever in neutral. The rods should only fit the correct lever.
