Default Nedd a new spotlight

It looks like my hood caught my driver's side spot light and put a little dent in the chrome housing. I'm going to take it off if I can't find a new one for a decent price. Anybody know where I could get a new light? I don't need the whole thing, just the housing if possible. The only one I can find lists for $500+ and that's for the handle and spotlight. Thanks.

Little dents can be fixed. Talk to a plating shop.

There has to be someone near you that straightens chrome or stainless moldings.
They should be able to remove the dent in your spotlight.

If you want to get the dent out, try brightworks Restoration, 136 Kennedy Street, Fall
River, ma. 02721. 1-508-672-5931, or 1-508-646-6690. Steve does all of my work on Ford stainless headlight rims, as well as some 1952-53 Ford ,and Mercury headlight rims. He is good, fair prices, and reasonable turn around time.

Do you have a model number on yours . I recently found 2 boxes of complete lights with good 6 v bulbs .

I took mine off, then apart, then delicately hammered it out. Isn't perfect, but I can live with it. I would rather leave it off, but then I have to figure out what to do with the ugly hole in the A pillar. I guess I will plug, weld and paint it this winter if I decide not to put another light on.

I didn't notice a model number on it, but I will look again. Thanks Ggmac.

Little dents are sometimes best left alone. Sort of like a badges of honor. Rumored to help prevent bigger dents.
