Most A Parts House suppliers have a reproduction firewall connection unit that includes both a 'door' and a 'deflector'.

I have one I bought from brattons. It has the firewall door and all hardware. I would be happy to sell.

I got an Autolite heater with my A, and always assumed that the door that came with it was original. However, it looks nothing like yours and doesn't have the built-in adjustable deflector plate. It's made of some type of alloy, and only has a swinging door to open or shut off the air flow.

I like yours way better!

Is mine just a later reproduction, or did Autolite make a variety of styles?

I have posted these pictures in the past but still haven't found anyone that can identify it. It will not fit a Model A because of the choke rod. The deflector is cable controlled.
