Default Transfer pump any thoughts

I’m thinking of buying the one below to get diesel from can to tractor, only needs to pump 5 gals every couple of weeks, or is their a better idea.

I have one of these Harbor Freight pumps. Works good but you can't empty the can totally. https://www.harborfreight.com/batter...=transfer+pump

every time you transfer fuel from/to containers you risk contamination [water dirt etc ]that's why they leave a little bit in the bottom

I have used an automotive electric fuel pump. If you break down you will have a spare on the shelf.
