Default 1941 ford oil pan

hello any tips on changing the oil pan gasket on the Flathead....

You have jack up engine in front to get the pan off. Did that on my first car in 1954.

make sure and put some silicon seal to hold the narrow gasket material on the back edge of the pan, I assume you are working on a A or a 59AB. also take loose the wishbone and pull down and place a spacer cut out of a scrap of 2x4 between it and the frame--gives you more room--if you watch the orientatuion on the crank throws you might not even have to raise front of engine-I did not on my 40 tudor
