Here's an update on activities planed for the 2014 Florida "Barner's Bash" from February 28th to March 2nd. A friend of mine has an automotive restoration shop not far from the Fantasy of Flight Museum, he has offered to host the group on Saturday, with a BBQ, after we finish up at the museum. It's a 90% go at this point. As things get firmed up, I will post it here.
The 2014 Florida "Barner's Bash" is a Cigar City Flatheads Event.

Are any of you concerned about overnight parking at hotels? Yes, I have a battery cut off and an alarm but, I worry about some thief with a flatbed (slidebed) just draging my car away.
Day tripping 4 hours each way just does not seem like I want to do it. Am I chicken little? |

Tom, not to worry, you can keep your car at my house over night. I live in a gated community so your car will be safe. Only problem is I don't have any garage space available so the '36 will have to sit outside over night.

Bill, we have gators, snakes (even some of the two legged variety... have exposed themselves recently
 ) and assorted other wildlife that frequent the yard however, there is no need to fear the reptilian's, as I have standing agreements with them... It's called professional courtesy...  LOL

Here's an update. There may be some changes to the schedule of events for the 2014 Florida "Barner's Bash" put together by the Cigar City Flatheads however, they won't have a negative effect, just a possible change of venue for one event. I will keep providing up-dates and look forward to seeing everyone.
