COVID-19 Monthly Model A Meetings and activities...
Just how are the many chapters of MARC and MAFCA handling your monthly Model A Ford meetings?
As for the Walla Walla Sweet A's (MAFCA) we have elected not to put out a monthly newsletter or even have monthly meetings since March 2020. However a few of the members have, since last month, gone on a lunch tour. What has been your situation these past few months? Thanks Steve Plucker Walla Walla Sweet A's |

For the LowCountry Model A Club in Charleston, SC, our monthly newsletter, Quail Mail, still goes out on time, and we’ve been holding monthly meetings via Zoom. Lately, we’ve had 14-15 people participate, and the call lasts about 30 minutes, with the main topic being planning outdoor driving events.

Oakleaf has had our meetings on a members big driveway. Our news letter is now on line. Saving us a ton of money. We have had a few lunch runs, a safety check session and a scavenger hunt, visual from the cars, followed by a lunch.

Re: COVID-19 Monthly Model A Meetings and activities...
West Branch A's in central Pennsylvania 2020 meetings went as followed Jan. , Feb regular meeting no mask or social distancing. March, April ,May no meeting, Pa.is locked down during those months. June , July meeting was held outside in a borough park. August meeting was at Hoss's Restaurant in there banquet room. Must social distance and were mask to Buffet.Sept. meeting is same as August. Our August meeting we picked up 3 new members to a total of 35.
During the lockdown we still published a monthly newsletter so we stayed in touch with one another. October is still up in the air. We do not meet in Nov and Dec. due to holidays but we will try to find a Restaurant to accommodate our year end club dinner. Last edited by Jim Baskin III Pa.; 08-31-2020 at 07:34 AM. |

Steve
The Queen City Model A Club has been doing a lot of "drive-byes" and meeting at a drive-in car hop. I think in the next couple of months we will try some social distance meetings, and call it a protest! That way it looks like it's legal? |
