Default armrests

in a foor door how are the rear side armrests located. There was nothing in the body i brought and it doesn't seem to have any wood to fasten the rear of the rests

There is a steel formed bracket, that has an opening towards the front that the armrest slides into. Additionally there is a screw through the rear of the armrest, which gets hidden by the seat back.

You did not say what car you have, on my 31 S/W town sedan they are screwed through the rear quarter panel in to the wooded frame of the armrest and covered with fabric and padding.

From what I understand, the standard 4) doors, had a center round dome light, with a switch built in, no rear seat armrests (center or sides), plain window frames, with painted pulls, and no cowl lights.

Not sure what your is but for a '29 Town Sedan there is a wood brace that runs below the rear quarter window from the door frame back to the rear of the inside of the body. The arm rest has a screw that goes through the back of the arm rest into that wooden brace. The front of the arm rest had a metal "hook" that slips into a bracket attached into to front of the wooden brace.
The front slides in first from front to back then the back of the arm rest is secured with the screw.
I don't think the standard Fordors had rear armrests.
