Default Late 30s wood mystery - can you ID?

This came with 1939 convertible coupe parts, but does not seem to belong. Can you recognize this wood piece, or identify?
Appreciated,
Mark

I dont know much about the car your working on but that looks like the vertical edge that goes at front of the top well or platform the top rests on when retracted in my car.

The convertible coupes needed help bracing the rear quarter panels so Ford used wood cross members to tie the B-pillars together. I don't know if that's what it is but that cross member and some package trays for coupes had members like that. It may also be seat related. Kube would likely know if he recognizes it.
