Bedford 4.75/5.00 19" tires
About 7 years ago I bought 4 Bedford 4 ply nylon black wall tires for my A-400. Foolishly, I only bought 4 and now that I want a matching spare, I can no longer find any Bedford 19" tires for sale. Are any still available? If so, leads would be appreciated. Thanks,
PS: Expecting I will probably dings the wheels, does anyone in New England do Tacoma Cream powder coating? |

Try LUCAS TIRES. They have them advertised in the June issue of Classic Cars. 800-952-4333

Put a cover over the spare and no one will know it's not a match.....

Thought about that, bought the cover, but the spare is a Goodyear Diamond tread......one of 5 bought in the 60's with zero miles, but had to replace due to sidewall rot! The difference is obvious along the edges.

Each A-400 has/had a body number plate on the engine side of the firewall just to the left of the terminal block.
