Default Front tire to bumper distance 30-31

For a 1930 - 1931 car what is the correct distance from the front of the front tire to the back of the front bumper? (the back of the bumper bar inside of the eyelet.

I think the main thing is that its even between both sides. I had the fenders off my car and noticed that the tire was closer to the front bumper on one side than the other, then upon closer inspection I noticed my front axle was bent! I rebuilt the front end and put the axle in a press to straighten it out (I also replaced the front wishbone) and then the spacing from the front bumper to the tires was even on both sides. After that work I put nearly 2,000 miles on the car and it drove nicely. Sorry I can't chime in on an actual number at this time but hopefully someone knows, but like I said I think the most important thing is that its symmetrical, if it isn't you probably have some issues somewhere.

It is probably important to know if the bumper is an original 60" length or the aftermarket stainless type that are shorter I believe....
I would like to know also. Different Mfg. tires will have a different profile which could change it too. I think montanafordman is probably correct about them being symmetrical.

On my car it is about 2" at the closest (back of the curled end) to the goodyear tire, the bumper bars were NOS unplated, and I havn't found any evidence that the car ever had any front accident damage., measured like in the picture of the earlier post it is about 3-3/4" through the bars to the center of the tread, less than 1/8 difference side to side with either measurement
