What are the chances
What's the chances of going out for breakfast in a 1930 Model A pickup and having a 1928 Model A pickup pull in right next to you? In Stephentown NY this morning.

When I see an unknown Model A, I'll chase him 1/2 way across town to wave & honk! Bill W.

Re: What are the chances
Great photos-looks like great Model A country too. And you know, Model A's are attracted to diners, or so it seems!

Re: What are the chances
About 10 years ago my wife and I were out in our (at the time) 1915 T Runabout - a very original car it was un-restored and "dusty" with age. We stopped for lunch at a tiny corner store with a lunch counter in the back-woods of Maine and parked right next to? You guessed it - a very well restored 1915 T Runabout. So on the way in I see a guy wearing a bowler hat and tell him not to hop in the wrong car on the way out which is greeted with laughs by both him & his wife. About 15 minutes later he comes running back into the store after finally getting my joke - he could not believe it either. Neither of us knew there was another identical car in the area.

Re: What are the chances
Hi Guy's, This was way back in the 70's,,My fuel line plugged up & I was stuck by the side of the road..I had cleaned the car out & left my tool's home (Dumb Move) This was way before cell phone's, had to walk to a pay phone & call my Pop's for help...Walked back to the car & a few minutes latter out of nowhere come's a Model A..Turned out to be a guy I knew from the club... He had some tool's, Blew out the line & I waited for my dad Then was good to go Talk about a one in a million !!! Greg out west |

Re: What are the chances
Odds are better than you think...there is a red 31 pickup with the same wood sides on the bed in Hancock (2 miles away). Don't know how often he drives it
