1956 Meteor Niagara decode VIN number

Hello There:
Canadian 1956 Ford Meteor Niagara 2 door sedan the Department of Motor Vehicles of California give me the title of 1957 because according to their books the second digit its the year model 27OBK56191XXX I need to prove them that the car its 1956 any help will be very appreciated it.

This is what I come up with, 2 stands for Meteor 8 cyinder, 70B is the body style, K might be the month code, 56 is likely the year and maybe 19 is the day of the month. Canadian codes are tough to crack without an actual decoder.

Don't know if this is any help, but this picture shows the 1956 Canadian Meteor Niagara 2 door sedan that is illustrated in the official Meteor Catalogue showing all of the 1956 models that were available.

Well I wasn't too far off except for thinking the K and the 19 were something to do with the date.
Oldmics, is there a chance you could take a better photo or scan the pages related to the data code break downs?
