Default Dad’s Creative Writing

Ran across this recently going through some of my Dad’s old papers . I vaguely remember him writing this from many years ago. He will be gone 30 years next year. Thought you might get a chuckle out of it. This was certainly true of my Dad and now that I think of it, me as well.

Well done. Maybe he wouldn't mind this being put in our club newsletter?
I got the bug at about 8. Uncle joes coupe (Rialto, Ca) rides to get provisions, and a Cracker Jack for me. He and my dad enjoyed each other's company, and I watched the gas gage bob around. That was the time of the first home TV sets, and party phone lines.

Very well done. I'm sure everybody sees themselves in that article and it is a newsletter candidate for sure, if you are OK with it.

I have observed that this addiction can run in families.

Yes, Feel free to use in your Club Newsletters. My Dad would have liked that.

Thank you for allowing this to be used in club newsletters. I bet your father would never have thought those words would be reprinted in Australia!
