Gary Does the rope still come up though the floor at Marine Hardware? And how about that great wood
stove in the back of the store? Do you remember my 40 coupe and 3 or 4 Model A's that
came to your place for a visit? Gary

Wow! That was a time ago for sure! They had huge spools or barrels of rope in the cellar and holes in the floor... Yes I remember, but no longer. The Demopolis Bros bought huge stockpiles of navy/ marine gear and supplies after ww2. Much of it is still in stock and for sale, but it IS running out fast. And now it has new owners and a lot of what they sell to tourists is stuff made overseas. Still a must stop when we get to Anacortes!
